
We are excited to announce and provide RSVP details for the next International Soil Virus Conference that will be held in Saint Loup Lamairé, France on June 16 – 18, 2026.
The aim of the conference is to bring together experts in the field of virology, virus ecology, soil microbiology and bioinformatics to share latest findings and perspectives on soil viruses, and importantly to serve as a platform for networking and discussing key areas of frontier research. We are aiming for 50 in-person attendees. The concept is to create a GRC-style meeting with everyone spending a lot of time together, both scientifically and socially, in an idyllic setting.

Inclusive registration fee:
Registration is €600 for all attendees and includes conference attendance, meals (& wine!) and local transportation (to/from the train station and the Château). For those that are unable to join in person, a virtual option is available (€100) but will be limited to the oral presentation component of the conference. Attending with non-conference participants, families etc. is possible with a modest supplemental fee.
Conveniently located accommodation:
Lodging at the Château, or in a nearby gîte is €50 per night.
